Melissa Roza, a reformed investment banker and Silicon Valley high-tech professional, was inspired to found Château Weddings after painstakingly planning her own wedding in Provence. The challenges of selecting vendors and managing logistics across 6,000 miles and nine time zones were exceeded only by the rewards of a truly perfect wedding week. Encouraged by her new French in-laws and her wedding guests, she decided to apply her skills to helping others make their wedding dreams come true.

Following in-depth field research throughout the most scenic regions of France and Italy, Melissa has handpicked the best wedding sites and partnered with the finest caterers, photographers, florists, and musicians in each region. Over the past six years, she has planned weddings in Provence, the Riviera, Paris, the Loire Valley, Rome, Tuscany, Umbria, Positano, Capri, and many other beautiful locations.

Albane de Boisgrollier joined Château Weddings following a successful career as a French/English interpreter and project manager in the US and in France. Albane's affinity for wedding planning surfaced when she personally managed her own 350 person Parisian wedding. From her home in Paris, Albane specializes in Château Wedding's onsite coordination and vendor and site research.

Samantha & Daniela perform onsite coordination in Florence, Rome and the Amalfi Coast.  An Italian native, Daniela worked as an English translator and event coordinator before joining Château Weddings.  Samantha fell in love with Italy as an American student studying abroad, and has been planning Italian events for nearly ten years.

We will work with you to design a one-of-a-kind, unforgettable event - from pre-wedding events, through rehearsal dinner, the big day and the day after. We'll even help your guests with travel arrangements and accommodations.

Once you decide on a few basics, your level of involvement is up to you.  Some of our clients even choose to join us for a pre-wedding trip to visit a few châteaux and villas, meet the service providers and do some wine and menu tasting (it's a tough job, but someone's got to do it!)
